Your solution is much better. This extensive guide assumes that you are playing the game on the default preset Nomad and have little or no experience of playing 7 Days to Die. The file xgui_menu had the 25,50,100,200 and 300, so I added a 1000% option, and yeah, the gamestage freaked out. Thank you so much guys, this did the trick really. If you level up TOO fast, you'll wind up having a horrible hoard while not being ready for that hoard. A better choice may be to give yourself extra perk points with each level. Originally posted by Khissi:You'll shoot yourself in the foot if you do that. use File SAVE!!! and, next time you level, you will get 'X' number of perk points rather than just 1. Further down in that grouping is yet another line, exactly the same, and you change that number to match. You will find, after playing with this, that going over 2 will pretty much ruin the fun of the game. So, at the very top, in the first large grouping under look for the line that states and change that number to 2. If you do change your perk progression, you'll need to change it again if there is an update. Do NOT change numbers in this folder unless you are willing to accept the consequences for what you do, AND, any time the game updates, this file will revert to its original. You will be looking at the xml files for progression in the game. Right click on the progression file and 'Open With.' Notepad. Inside that folder choose Data/Config When you open the Config file, look for the file called 'progression'. So, to give yourself more perk points per level:įind the 7 Days to Die folder in your Steam Folder. You'll shoot yourself in the foot if you do that.
